ACT

To validate the Revision of Record-of-Rights in the

District of Bannu, Mardan and Swabi.

            Preamble.---WHEREAS it is expedient to validate the revision of record-of-rights in the Districts of Bannu, Mardan and Swabi.

            It is hereby enacted as follows:

1.         Short title, extent and commencement.---(1)  This Act may be called the [7][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Revision of Record-of-Rights (Validation) Act, 1991.

            (2)        It shall extend to the District of Bannu, Mardan and Swabi.

            (3)        It shall come into force at once.

2.         Validation of certain actions.---Notwithstanding the non-publication of the Revenue Department’s Notification No. 19738/S&CH/55. Sett., dated the 8th September, 1982, as required by section 2(41) of the West Pakistan General Clauses Act, 1956 (W.P. Act VI of 1956), or any other law for the time being in force, or any judgment, decree or order of any court or other authority, the special revision of records-of-rights done in the Districts of Bannu, Mardan and Swabi in pursuance of the Notification referred to above shall be valid and shall always be deemed valid for all intents and purposes of the West Pakistan Land Revenue Act, 1967 (W.P. Act XVII of 1967).
