AN 
ORDINANCE 


to repeal the [6][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Ehtram-e- Ramazan Act, 1972

 

           WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the [7][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]  Ehtram-e- Ramazan Act, 1972 ([8][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Act 1 of 1973);

Preamble.

 

AND WHEREAS the Governor of the [9][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 128 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan read with the Provisional Constitution Order, 1981 (C.M.L.A. Order No.l of 1981), the Governor of the [10][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:

 

1.         (1)        This Ordinance may be called the [11][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Ehtram-e- Ramazan (Repeal) Ordinance, 1981.

Short title, extent and commencement.

 

(2)               It shall extend to whole of the [12][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Province.

 

(3)               It shall come into force at once.

 

2.         The [13][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Ehtram-e- Ramazan Act, 1972 ([14][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Act 1 of 1973), is hereby repealed.

Repeal of [15][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Act I of 1973.
