THE   WEST   PAKISTAN   GENERAL   CLAUSES(EXTENSION TO [2][TRIBAL] AREAS) REGULATION 1961.

REGULATION

to extend the provisions of the General  Clauses Act, 1897, to the [3][Tribal]  Areas   of  West Pakistan.

            WHEREAS it is expedient to extend the provisions of the General-Clauses Act, 1897, to the [4][Tribal] Areas of West Pakistan for the purposes of the peace and good government thereof.

Preamble.

           

            NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Presidential Proclamation of the seventh day of October, 1958, and having recei­ved the previous approval of the President, the Governor of West Pakistan, in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, is pleased to make and promulgate the following Regulation : —

 

1.         (1) This Regulation may be called the West Pakistan General Clauses (Extension to [5][Tribal] Areas) Regulation, 1961.

 

            (2) It extends to the [6][Tribal] Areas of West Pakistan.

 

            (3)It shall come into force at once.

Short title extent and

commencement.

 

2.         The provisions of the General Clauses Act, 1897, shall apply to the [7][Tribal] Areas of West Pakistan.

[1]. In this Regulation  wherever occurring the word   'Special"   the   words,  (Tribal) by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Adaptation of laws Order, 1975.
