Certain laws to cease to operate. THE PROVINCIALLY ADMINISTERED TIBAL AREAS (APPLICATION OF
PROBATION OF OFFENDERS ORDINANCE) REGULATION, 1981. N.-W.F.P. REGULATION NO. 1 OF 1981. A
AND WHEREAS the Governor of a Province, with the approval
of the President may with respect to any matter within the legislative
competence of the Provincial Assembly, make regulations of a Provincially
Administered Tribal Area or any part thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of the
fifth day of July, 1977, read with the Laws (Continuance in Force) Order, 1977
C. M. L. A. Order No. 1 of 1977), and in exercise of all powers enabling him in
that behalf the Governor of the North-West Frontier Province, with the approval
of the President, is pleased to make the following Regulation:
(2) It
extends to all the Provincially Administered Tribal Areas of the North-West
Frontier Province. (3) It shall
come into force at once.
(a)
the previous operation of such law instrument, custom or usage; or (b)
any obligation or liability accrued or incurred, any penalty,
forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence punishable, under
such law, instrument, custom or usage; or (c)
any investigation legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any
such obligation liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment and any such
investigation, proceeding or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced,
and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed, as if
sub-section (1) had not come into force.
