AN

ORDINANCE

 

To repeal the [7][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]Property Acquisition Ordinance,1972

            WHEREAS, it is expedient to repeal the [8][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Property Acquisition Ordinance, 1972 ([9][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]Ord. No. XXII of 1972);

Preamble.

            AND WHEREAS the Provincial Assembly of the [10][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] is not in session and the Governor of the [11][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]is satisfied that circumstances exist which render immediate legislation necessary;

            NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by clause (1) of Article 135 of the Interim Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Governor of the [12][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance-

1.               (1)        This Ordinance may be called the [13][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Property Acquisition (Repeal) Ordinance, 1972.

Short title and 
commencement.

            (2)        It shall come into force at once.

 

2.         The [14][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Property Acquisition Ordinance, 1972 ([15][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa]Ord. No. XXII of 1972), is hereby repealed.
